This page is designed to give you a look into why I made this blog and what each of the categories means.
DS: This section is for all the posts relating to various Nintendo DS projects I might work on or ideas I have for other projects. Links might include tutorials, developers pages/blogs of developer friends or people whose projects look really cool.
Procrastination: I will often make promises or goals about a project I work on. No matter how low I set the bar for myself, I will find some way to procrastinate. This is where I will try to justify my lack of progression in coding. I might even post some goals in this category purely because it’s ironic.
Opinions about things: I’ll make a post here if I see something – a TV show, movie, game, etc. – I really like or dislike. I’ll pretend I’m an authority on such things and give you reasons why you should partake in the activity and then expect you to heed my advice without argument.
Tuesdays: These are somewhat true, awe inspiring anecdotes written by yours truly. Why? They spawned out of boredom. The first story came to me when I was working at a furniture repair/refinishing place. As a technologically oriented person, that job was often quite boring. It was kinda fun working with my hands; sanding and staining all that furniture, but sometimes I was just left to myself to think. One day, it was raining like a madman and flooded the shop. A couple pieces of furniture needed to be re-sanded and re-stained. As I was helping to clean up the water, a story started to weave itself in my head. The story of why water hates wood so much. After a while I stopped writing them due to lack of time, motivation, or inspiration. I’m going to archive the old TwF’s here (one per week) and I might post new ones when I get inspired.
Uncategorized: This is obviously where I put everything that doesn’t fit into a different category. Or when I make a drunken rant I’ll put the post here, then the next morning when I read said rant I will create a drunken rant category and move the post there.
